Book of condolence

A book of condolence will be available for residents to leave their own personal messages at the Council’s Urban Road reception until 5.00pm, Tuesday 20 September 2022.

There are also books of condolence at St Mary’s Church, Hucknall and St Mary’s Church, Sutton.

An online book of condolence is also available on the Royal Family's website.

Floral tributes

Residents are welcome to lay flowers at the following locations in Ashfield:

  • the front of the Council building, Kirkby in Ashfield
  • at the flagpoles in Selston Country Park
  • the Sundial in Portland Square, Sutton in Ashfield
  • by the cenotaph outside the library, Hucknall.

Flags

The flags at the Council will be lowered and raised in line with national protocol.
