Council thanks Ashfield Volunteers to celebrate Volunteers’ Week

Ashfield District Council would like to say a huge thank you to all volunteers across the District to celebrate their achievements and inspire others.

As part of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), the Council wishes to send a very special 'thank you' to all volunteers and voluntary organisations across Ashfield for the significant contribution they make in our communities.  By helping and supporting the work we do as a Council and no matter the size of their contribution, it makes a massive difference overall.

Cllr Christopher Huskinson, Executive Lead Member for Leisure, Health and Wellbeing said:

“Volunteers in Ashfield do a fantastic job to support the services we provide. I am proud that we have so many individuals and organisations in the District that go above and beyond to make Ashfield such a great place to live and work. From everyone at Ashfield District Council I want to say a huge thank you and well done to all our volunteers.”
