The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean 2025

We are rolling out The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean across the District for the 8th year as part of our commitment to make Ashfield a cleaner place to live, work and visit.

Residents are invited to dispose of a small amount of bagged household waste during their designated week.

On top of this, Flying Skips will be out and about across the District for you to dispose of extra waste, toys and bric-a-brac.

Our free bulky waste collection scheme will start again in April.

The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean roll out

Kerb side collections

Residents are invited to dispose of a small amount of bagged household waste. Bags should be placed out with the red-lidded bin on your scheduled collection day, see dates below. We will have additional vehicles for extra waste so it may not be collected at the same time as your bin. As long as it is in a bin liner and doesn’t contain hazardous materials, we will collect it.

Please ensure the bagged waste is presented before 6 am on the morning of your collection. You can check when your regular collection is due on our bin calendar:
