Apply for permission

If planning permission is required for your proposal, you will need to complete the appropriate application form and provide the necessary documentation and fee. Applications must be made using the standard national application forms.

We are currently experiencing a high level of demand for planning applications. This may delay our response time and we appreciate your patience at this time.

Apply online

We encourage you to submit your application online through the national Planning Portal where you can:

  • create a site location plan
  • add attachments
  • calculate the fee
  • and pay via a secure web link.

Alternatively the planning fee can be paid using our online payment system using a debit or credit card.

Further information about what documents you will need to submit with your application can be found on the planning portal:

or by viewing our locally adopted validation lists from the related documents section of this web page.
