Simpler Recycling is a key legislative change, starting on 31 March 2025.

The new Simpler Recycling legislation aims to create a standardised approach to waste collection, to make recycling easier and more effective for all.

Does your business have 10 or more employees?

You will be required to separate mixed recyclables and food waste into dedicated separate containers if you have 10 or more employees.

Does your business have less than 10 employees?

The legislation will also change for all small and micro businesses, starting 31 March 2027.
